Needed: Volunteers to help teach homeowners how to save energy!
The CWC is looking for energetic and dedicated volunteers to perform comprehensive energy audits for households in need. Sign up by clicking the link below to fill out the online sign up form or email cwc@rebuildingtogetherncf.org. We will contact you when the next training session is scheduled.
Make a Difference: Improvements completed by our volunteer auditors can help achieve significant savings on clients’ utility bills and assist in decreasing our impact on the Earth!
CWC volunteer auditors learn how to:
- Teach energy and water-saving strategies to homeowners
- Fully inspect a home for potential structural damage, malfunctioning systems, and other opportunities for energy and water conservation
- Perform minor modifications to the home in order to lower utility consumption
Auditors must be willing to:
- Complete a satisfactory background check before becoming certified
- Attend CWC trainings
- Commit to one year as a volunteer
- Perform at least 10 inspections during that year (each inspection lasts 2-4 hours)
