Rotary Team- works “RAIN or SHINE!”

Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Gainesville worked through the last rain bands of Tropical Storm Fay to do home modifications for one disabled homeowner over the weekend.  When asked if they would rather re-schedule their work day to wait for better weather, they responded: “Rain-Smain… We wanna work!”  Rotary Volunteers completed a number of modifications in the laundry room, bathroom and kitchen to give expanded access to the homeowner who is bound to a wheelchair.

The volunteer team will visit this house again next weekend to put some finishing touches in place. I think we can be reassured that they will be on site- regardless of the weather conditions!
